MECHANIC (HEAVY MACHINE)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspection and troubleshoot machine engine and mechanical / electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) to ensure machine functionality and longevity.
  • Provide a schedule for future maintenance sessions and advise operators on proper machine use.
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks).
  • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance jobs.
  • Take responsibility for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certification from a vocational school is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery.
  • Working knowledge of machine diagnostic systems and methods.
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift).
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
  • Willingness and initiative to learn.
  • Excellent physical condition.
