Job Overview
Analyze and solve production engineering issues with the objective of ensuring production by order and improving the efficiency within the supervision of Manager I Manufacturing Engineering.
Design, develop, trial and qualify new machine, repair, upgrade, and maintain old machine with the objective of ensuring implementation of new machine into mass production on time, recovering machine issue for production timely within the supervision of electrical engineering.
Job Requirements
Automation Project Handling
- In order to improve the efficiency of the production and running NPI project smoothly, develop the automatic solution and implement the machine into production.
Problem Solving
Provide the technical support for autoline qualification, ramp up and change over.Identify the root cause of the key issue and solve the issue.Responsible for the effective communication across the company.Technical Support
Conduct tooling design or improvement.Follow up sample making issues during new project immigration process.Guide engineer / technician in tooling qualification and sample making.Conduct the machine guarding, execute company EHS standards & requirements.Ensure tooling design and improvement meet the new project requirement and release new product and process into mass production on time.Production Documentation Management
Coach engineer for engineering documents such as work instruction, process flow chart, PFMEA, LOTO, JSA, WI etc.Follow and conduct engineering change (EC).Ensure completeness and timeliness of engineering document.Equipment Repair and Maintenance
Prepare equipment maintenance plan and monitor plan execution conducted by technician to ensure equipment are well maintained.Check machine guarding, execute company EHS standards & requirements to ensure meeting company guideline.Ensure state of equipment is good & safe.What Your Background Should Look Like
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation.Minimum 8 years of experience with automated assembly machines, skilled in fixture / jig design and troubleshooting for automation machine.Familiar with Vision Inspection (Keyence / Cognex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices and components selection.Robot knowledge will be a plus.Interfacing knowledge between mechanical and electrical.Pro-E / SolidWorks / AutoCAD / UG / Inventor / CREO – Familiar with Pro-E or SolidWorks, AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawing.Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills.English skills, able to read technical materials in English.Competencies
