Diplomain Medical Laboratory Technology recognised by the Malaysia Government from anylocal institution of higher learning or equivalent institutions. Registeredas a practitioner in Allied health Profession (AHP) is an advantage. Highlevel of motivation and disciplined. Possesshigh level of integrity and positive attitude. Agood team player, committed and dedicated to work. Ableto converse and write in English and Bahasa Melayu. Ableto work independently with minimal supervision . Possessgood interpersonal skills and meticulous personality. Willingto learn as well as sharing knowledge with others. Applicantsmust be Malaysia citizen. LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION All candidatesmust have obtained : Credit (at least C)

for Bahasa Melayu and

English(including oral examination) in

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia(SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by thegovernment

OR IELTS Band 6 / Band 4 inMalaysian University English Test (MUET).

Candidate without any of thesequalifications will be required to sit for the IIUM English LanguageProficiency Test.

Note : Shortlistedapplicants who are currently employees of the Malaysian Government or StatutoryBodies in Malaysia will be required to submit the hard copy of applicationsthrough the respective Heads of Department together with the confidential reportand up to date service record. Toalways adhere to approved standard operation procedure (SOP) while performinglaboratory testing. Toreceive sample from customer. Tocheck sample suitability for the requested test. Toperform data demographic for the requested test. Tocarry out laboratory testing activities as assigned. Toadhere to test turnaround time (TAT). Tostore and dispose post analytical samples. Toensure the instruments / equipment are in good condition / well-functioned andready to be used. Toassist in maintenance of the assigned laboratory instrument / equipment asscheduled. Toprepare / organize materials / chemicals / reagents or consumables for theassigned laboratory test. Tofile / keep record of the laboratory results / forms and other relateddocuments records. Toassist and facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate students who are onindustrial attachment. Tobe involved in teaching and learning from time to time as requested Head ofUnit (HOU) / Pathologist. Toassist and facilitate any approved research activities in the laboratory asassigned by supervisor. Toprotect the confidentiality and other related rights of patients.
