We also have own sales team focusing on pharmaceutical, cardiovascular, and vascular range.
About the Job
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the promotion and sale of the company’s products to general practitioners and retail pharmacy sectors.
- Responsible for the sales of medical devices, achieving sales targets, and increasing the market share of the company’s products in the designated areas.
- Coordinate with the company’s other sales personnel to secure customer orders.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
- Timely submission of all necessary reports and documentation related to work.
Product Promotion, Customer Relation and Market Development
Promote the company's products to sales prospects.Continually prospect and qualify new customers.Conduct follow‑up service calls to drive customer usage, engagement, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling.Identify and qualify leads, and build relationships with healthcare professionals.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns and initiatives that drive product awareness.Provide necessary business intelligence as and when required.Assist Sales and Marketing team in developing sales execution plans, specifically advising on realistic forecasts for relevant products and territories (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort).Manage ad‑hoc tasks as and when assigned by management or marketing.Team Collaboration and Reporting
Submit traveling itinerary at least one month in advance or upon request from immediate superior.Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, supply chain, etc.) to ensure smooth sales processes.Manage consigned inventories in respective hospitals.Regularly report work progress, sales performance, and market feedback to superiors.Must be able to travel outstation with overnight stay when area coverage includes outstation.Qualifications
Educational Requirements :
A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in science would be an added advantage.A valid D driving license is compulsory.Work Experience :
A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, OTC sales experience in GP / Pharmacy; hospital experience is a plus.Proven track record of exceeding or meeting sales targets.Familiarity with healthcare systems, workflows, and medical terminology is a plus.Cultivate a positive and resilient mindset to adapt to changing environments.Willingness to learn.Ability to travel outstation is a must.Skills and Competencies
