The Head of Sustainability is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the Group’s overall sustainability strategy and vision. This individual will steer long-term sustainability goals, frameworks, and key initiatives, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The role will ensure alignment with international standards, elevate the Group’s sustainability profile, and foster a culture of environmental and social responsibility across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Group Sustainability Strategic Framework in alignment with corporate goals and global best practices.
- Lead the Sustainability Steering Committee; coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams on group-wide sustainability projects.
- Oversee all water, waste, energy, greenhouse gas (GHG), and environmental management programs, promoting reduction and efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability reporting standards and all regulatory requirements for the industry.
- Serve as the Group’s spokesperson for sustainability with customers, partners, industry bodies, and other external stakeholders.
- Promote a strong culture of sustainability, raising awareness and building engagement at every level within the Group.
- Represent the Group at industry forums; pursue applications for sustainability awards and relevant recognition.
- Track, analyze, and communicate sustainability KPIs, targets, and program effectiveness to executive leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve sustainability performance and manage associated change initiatives across the organization.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; an MBA or relevant certifications in sustainability are preferred.20+ years of experience in senior engineering or business leadership roles.Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in corporate sustainability, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.Strong knowledge of sustainability standards, environmental management systems, and best practices, especially within manufacturing, pharma, or medical devices industries.Proven experience managing cross‑functional, geographically diverse teams.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.High standards of integrity, adaptability, and a proactive, self‑driven work style.Family accommodationInsurance and additional benefits, as per group policySeniority Level
