HVAC Lead Engineer

Overview

Our client is looking for a HVAC Lead Engineer for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in HVAC design within the oil & gas industry and will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of HVAC systems for offshore wellhead platforms with Living Quarters (LQ) .

Responsibilities

• Lead the HVAC system design for offshore wellhead platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Develop and review HVAC design documents, including P&IDs, ducting layouts, equipment specifications, and control system requirements .
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams , including structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural engineers, to integrate HVAC systems effectively.
• Perform heat load calculations, ventilation analysis, and equipment selection to optimize HVAC system performance.
• Ensure HVAC designs comply with international codes and standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and relevant offshore regulations.
• Provide technical support during the procurement, construction, and commissioning phases .
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required to verify design implementation and address technical issues.
