Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 8‑10 years of experience in freight and nomination operations or a similar logistics role. Thorough understanding of freight regulations, processes, pricing, routing and documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a talent for developing and mentoring employees. About the role
The role will be responsible for leading the sea & air freight team independently and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of cargoes.
Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end freight operations – planning, scheduling, and monitoring shipments; promptly solving all freight issues.
- Manage freight pricing – source competitive rates from airlines and propose quotations to local customers and overseas agents.
- Coordinate shipments with liners, airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to move cargo.
- Communicate and maintain strong customer relationships, providing timely updates and exceeding expectations.
- Analyse and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and optimize freight processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Support sales and business development initiatives related to freight services.
