To establish, implement, update, and maintain the Spirit Malaysia engineering / CAMS requirements on the Tooling, process, and organization to meet stakeholders’ needs and customers’ requirements.
Requirement
- Accountable for Tooling Engineering / CAMS support in IBT production.
- Procedure review and update, propose improvement to tooling processes,
- Enforce Tooling Compliance from customers.
- Track performance of activities
- Track capacity manning and equipment
- Track budget for unit and submit budget for unit
- Accountable for analyses and applying results to improve business operations
- Plan, work and execute manpower arrangement throughout tooling operation to ensure all task within tooling operation can be delivered according to customer’s required date
- Accountable to analyze and provide possible solutions from engineering / CAMS issues either on tooling or product.
- Accountable to respond to supplier / production / ME / program, customer request of technical assistance on the tooling issue
- Enforce collaboration within department and across department.
- Coaching and facilitate others
- Strategize activities to meet Exceed expectation of establish KPIs
- Ensure compliance, effectiveness and efficiency of the tools, systems and processes utilized in the organization
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum (8-10) years working experience in Engineering / CAMS and / or Tooling or any relevant background with Degree from Technical Institute in Engineering / CAMS, ORMinimum (6-10) years working experience in Engineering / CAMS and / or Tooling or any relevant background with Diploma from Technical Institute in Engineering / CAMS;Knowledge on Tooling Engineering / CAMS concepts, Calibration and 3D Model.Knowledge on Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).CMS (Computer Measured System) – mandatory, specifically in Laser TrackerExperience in leading Laser Tracker or CMMMust be proactive and resourceful.Possess strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals across all levels, including those from external organizations.Ability to manage a group of engineer and technician.Good oral and written communication skills in English.Able to work in an aggressive team environment, demonstrating communication skills on technical issues.Computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project) and CATIA added as advantageSeniority level
