Adecco's client is seeking a dedicated Assistant HR Manager to support the full spectrum of human resources functions. The role requires a well‑rounded HR professional who can assist in both strategic and operational HR activities. Our client operates within a highly regulated, fast‑paced manufacturing environment, offering strong exposure and development opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including workforce planning, sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
- Assist in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Contribute to the execution of compensation and benefits programs and HR data management.
- Provide generalist support in employee relations, performance management, training & development, and policy implementation.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Partner with the HR Manager and department heads on manpower planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Provide HR operational support in a manufacturing or plant‑based environment to ensure smooth day‑to‑day workforce operations.
Key Requirements
5-8 years of HR experience, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, or other operationally intensive industries.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.Broad HR generalist background with hands‑on experience in recruitment, payroll administration, employee relations, and HR operations.Good understanding of Malaysian labor laws, HR compliance, and standard HR practices.Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office; strong attention to detail and data confidentiality.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with stakeholders.Willingness to travel when required.Desired Skills and Experience
