MAINTENANCE JUNIOR EXECUTIVE

Accountable for and prompt in responding to equipment and machinery faults, including diagnosing breakdowns, performing immediate corrective actions, and identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.

Implement and execute preventive maintenance programs (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) for machinery and utility systems, ensuring they meet operational and food safety standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance effectiveness, reduce potential breakdowns, and maintain machinery in optimal condition.

Maintain and control the usage of spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment, supported by proper records and inventory tracking.

Implement and maintain documentation control for all equipment, machinery, and process designs in both hardcopy and softcopy formats to ensure accurate and efficient retrieval.

Initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments (production, projects, purchasing) as well as contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Promote and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines, incorporating them into maintenance activities to prevent contamination.

Adheres to 5S practices and promotes a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Implement and monitor departmental safety programs, reviewing safety records periodically to uphold standards.

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety systems, and regulatory guidelines as governed by Malaysian law.

Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned in alignment with company objectives and operational needs.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical / Mechatronic) or equivalent is preferred

1-2 yearsof experience in Food Manufacturing Industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point & AutoCAD.

Basic knowledge in automation system such as PLC (Beckhoff & Siemens), pneumatic system is preferred.

Familiarity with aseptic equipment such as UHT, homogenizers, filling machines, CIP stations, or other food manufacturing processing equipment is considered an added advantage.

Able to perform shift duties and respond promptly to emergency equipment failures outside regular hours.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Strong negotiation organization and analytical skills.

Good in forecasting and planning and risk management.
