Job Summary
To assist the Pharmacist in the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
Job Description
- Perform Dispensing duties including labelling, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking and collection of assembled prescriptions.
- Attend to patients and give out prescriptions as outlined in the protocol.
- Unpack orders, check for discrepancies and put stock away.
- Ensure correct disposal of all returned medication, complying with environment health regulations.
- Ensure the availability of formulary drugs in all service areas.
