Team & Role
Candidate will be considered for both teams within our org. The role may be placed on either the Clickstream Intelligence Platform (Scribe) or the Customer Data Platform (CDP) teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve clickstream data pipelines—from event ingestion to insight delivery—and contribute to services / tools for understanding user behavior.
- Build scalable platform capabilities for user data onboarding, online serving, and real‑time data pipelines / architecture.
Required Skills & Experience
Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related undergraduate degree.Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading diverse engineering teams.Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages : Python, Go, or Scala.Experience developing large‑scale backend systems with high load, low latency requirements and maintaining reliability and cost efficiency.Experience building APIs, working with OLTP databases, and operating in distributed systems.Strong written and verbal English communication skills; prior work experience in regional & global environments.Desirable Experience
Data processing technologies such as Apache Flink (real‑time) and Apache Spark (batch).CI / CD tools, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.Benefits & Perks

Onsite at Grab Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office. Reporting to Engineering Manager in Singapore.
