Summary

The incumbent oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and price negotiation. They coordinate with shipping companies to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery to Belimo's warehouse and customer destinations. The role ensures accurate and timely data processing for effective inventory control aligned with business systems and cost tracking. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining strict trade compliance (import / export documentation, customs coordination) and SST compliance (accurate tax documentation, reporting, and finance collaboration).

What You'll Do

  • Oversees daily distribution operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and supports international logistics by coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate SAP documentation.
  • Manages transportation schedules, material requisitioning, and production planning to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.
  • Builds strategic relationships with logistics providers and customs brokers, evaluates suppliers, and ensures proper use of terminology and documentation for insurance, Incoterms, customs compliance.
  • Collaborates across departments to optimize stock planning, resolve logistical barriers, and improve process efficiency while maintaining updated SOPs and quality records.
  • Handles procurement tasks including generating purchase orders, verifying import documents and pricing, and ensuring customs duty and SST exemptions are properly documented and reported.
  • Supports cross‑training initiatives and presents logistics and stock reports to management for informed decision‑making.

Who You Are

  • High Diploma or above in Procurement / Business Management / Logistics / Supply Chain related qualifications.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a logistics or procurement role, preferably in order processing.
  • Proven knowledge of Sales & Service Tax (SST) compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using SAP system.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding industry regulations and best practices.
