The Imaging Inspection Manager / Solder Paste, AOI & AXI Manager will lead our imaging inspection team, overseeing the quality and efficiency of our inspection processes. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive technical expertise in automated inspection systems, proven managerial skills, and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Detailed Description
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and technicians. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Process Management : Oversee all aspects of solder paste inspection , Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) , and Automated X-ray Inspection (AXI) processes.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all equipment and processes adhere to regulatory standards, with a strong emphasis on FDA Part 21 protocols.
- Radiation Safety : Act as a Qualified Radiation Protective Officer (RPO) , enforcing and maintaining all radiation safety protocols and ensuring the safe operation of X-ray equipment.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategies to improve inspection accuracy, efficiency, and throughput.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure all inspection processes meet or exceed company and industry quality standards.
- Problem-Solving : Serve as the primary point of contact for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.
- Performance Metrics : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on team and process performance to senior management.
- Experience : A minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams and managing inspection processes, with a focus on solder paste inspection, AOI, and AXI.
- Technical Expertise : Deep knowledge of solder paste inspection , AOI , and AXI technologies and their applications.
- Regulatory Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of FDA Part 21 protocols.
- Radiation Safety : Must be a Qualified Radiation Protective Officer (RPO) .
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful process improvements.
- Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Typical Education
