Senior Production Planner cum Purchaser

Schedule and follow up the material inbound, based on factory forecasted capacity and customer’s demand.

Inventory Control

Coordinate with Operations division on any changes in the Capacity Planning and time frame.

Ensure all direct / indirect material delivered as per schedule planned.

Keep track on the inventory movement (work in progress, raw material and packaging material) on a daily basis.

Ensure production for all section complying and are completed according to schedule.

Coordinated processing of excess and obsolete material supply.

Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy and compliance with production needs.

Shipment management

Purchase sufficient support of both direct / indirect materials to support daily / weekly loading.

Maintain complete updated purchasing records / data and pricing in the system.

Physical stock verification, and preparation of monthly stock statements / reports as per timeline.

To match and verify supplier invoices / delivery orders against submission of all invoices.

Ensure timely submission of all invoices and delivery orders to Finance Department.

Create and maintain a detailed inventory list of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies.

Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.

Requirement :

• Candidate must possess at least diploma or bachelor degree in relevant field
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in material planning, purchasing, shipment or relevant supply chain experience
• Good communication, negotiation & problem-solving skills
• Independent, self-motivated, team work & aggressive
• Able to work under pressure and independently
• Required skill(s) : Basic of Computer Knowledge & MS Office.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin & Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Must possess own transport.
