Data Analyst - Business Intelligence

Location : Shopee, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Responsibilities

Work with Data : responsible for querying and analyzing large datasets, and creating or fixing data pipelines and dashboards to meet business needs. Collaborate with Business Teams : partner with business teams to understand challenges, contribute to analytics frameworks, and translate business questions into technical tasks. Statistical Analysis : perform in‑depth analysis using methods such as A / B testing, regression, benchmarking, projection, evaluate model performance, and provide actionable insights. Data Integrity : ensure data accuracy by implementing best practices in data management and governance. Project / Study : engage in end‑to‑end analyses or projects and deliver actionable next steps to address business challenges. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science or related fields. Advanced level of SQL with strong knowledge of data granularity and data principles. Ability to interpret large and intricate datasets (millions to billions of rows). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Business acumen in finance, marketing, business development, operations or related areas. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Bonus Points

Knowledge of R or Python. Experience in the e‑commerce industry. Seniority level
