1. Candidate must possess a diploma or degree (science or engineering) holder.
2. Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in manufacturing especially in extraction / utilities / effluent treatment / palm-chemical refineries plant process.
3. Experience with establishing management systems compliant to standards ISO9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
4. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, matured, analytical, self-starter and ability to work independently & collaboratively.
5. Possess competency CePSWaM / CePIETSO(PCP) certificate is an advantage.
6. Good communication skills at all levels in the organization to ensure clear understanding of Production procedures, guidelines, rules and policies.
7. Familiar and well verse on HSSE requirements such Permit to Work, LOTO System, Isolation Plan, Life Saving Rules, JMS, JHA.
8. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and speaking).
9. Willing to work in shift.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor and takes corrective actions to meet product quality, Process parameters and utilities consumption targets.
2. Maintain proper record keeping and sampling of process samples for quality analysis.
3. Work together with subordinates to understand and solve process issues.
4. Understand critical parameters and action required to be taken.
5. Understand and communicate the MoC (Management of Change) in place to subordinates.
6. Provide technical requirements to other departments e.g. Engineering, Quality Control, Boiler, Logistic for repair works, troubleshooting, quality reassurance etc. to achieve optimum condition of the plant.
7. Screen, plan and authorize other department works in areas inside the plant with minimum downtime or zero production disturbance.
8. Coordinate the proper utilization of Request for Maintenance (RFM) with the Engineering department for speedy and preventive actions.
9. Assume responsibility for plant activities after office hours in the absence of superior.
10. Responsible on issuing the PTW and maintaining the practice of LOTO and PTW practice as per procedure.
11. Execute daily operation following ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ to minimize work risk.
12. Prepare an Incident Report for any incident involving people, company properties or production loss inside the premise within 24 hours for immediate action.
13. Manage all emissions from the premises in compliance with DOE standards and maintains health regulation standards.
14. Plan and organise the manpower requirements for each shift, breakdown or emergency shutdown for uninterrupted operations.
15. Train newly recruited employees of production in job scope and safety, health and environment regulations and follow up on their knowledge and work performance.
