JD Edwards (JDE) IT Business Analyst - 1 year contract

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking JDE IT Business Analyst who takes ownership of delivering high-quality solutions and continuous system improvements. This role acts as a vital bridge between business teams and IT, ensuring that JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems effectively support day-to-day operations and long-term business goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to roll up their sleeves to understand both system and business processes in depth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnership & Process Analysis
  • Work closely with business users to gather, analyze, and document business needs across Distribution, Warehouse, Manufacturing functions.
  • Take initiative to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities to enhance JDE usage and business efficiency.
  • Support users with practical, hands‑on problem solving and provide timely solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
  • System Configuration & Support
  • Configure, test, and maintain JDE modules to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Proactively troubleshoot system issues, coordinate fixes, and ensure minimal disruption to users.
  • Maintain high responsiveness and accountability in handling user requests and service tickets.
  • Participate actively in JDE upgrades, enhancement projects, and new rollouts.
  • Prepare functional specifications, perform testing, and work closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership from requirement gathering through to go‑live support.
  • Provide user training and share best practices to strengthen JDE system adoption.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to standardize and improve JDE processes across the organization.
  • Take initiative in learning new tools and technologies related to JDE and business operations.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience :
  • 10 years of experience in JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne preferred) as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.
  • Hands‑on experience in one or more JDE modules such as Procurement, Sales Order, Inventory, Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehouse Management. Good understanding of Supply Chain integrations to Finance modules
  • Familiarity with integrations (EDI, 3PL) or reporting tools (BI Publisher, Orchestrator) is an advantage.
  • Skills :
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with a proactive and “can‑do” attitude.
  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Basic SQL or data analysis skills are a plus.
