Job Summary
Assist in the development, analysis, and implementation of policy and sustainability initiatives that align with MRANTI’s strategic objectives. Support engagements with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with national policies and sustainability best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Research & Analysis : Conduct research and analysis on policies related to sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), and national science, technology, and innovation (STI) frameworks to support policy development and recommendations.
- Policy and Regulatory Monitoring : Track local and global policy developments, regulatory trends, and sustainability standards, and provide timely updates and insights to inform MRANTI’s strategic directions.
- Sustainability Initiatives Development : Support the formulation and implementation of sustainability initiatives that align with MRANTI’s business objectives and national policy priorities.
- Preparation of Briefing Materials : Develop high-quality briefing notes, presentation decks, and policy papers for internal decision-making and engagements with external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement Support : Assist in coordinating MRANTI’s participation in national policy committees, technical working groups, and sustainability-related forums and networks.
- Documentation & Communication : Support the documentation, reporting, and communication of MRANTI’s policy positions, sustainability initiatives, and stakeholder engagements in line with internal protocols.
- Data Collection & ESG Performance Tracking : Assist in gathering and maintaining data on MRANTI’s sustainability performance, including key ESG indicators, to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration : Facilitate collaboration across various MRANTI departments to integrate sustainability principles into operational activities and projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate records of MRANTI’s engagements with government bodies, agencies, industry stakeholders, and other relevant entities.
- Ad-hoc Support : Undertake any other duties and assignments as directed by the Senior Manager to support the objectives of the Strategic Policy department.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in policy analysis, sustainability, ESG, and stakeholder engagement.Prior experience with government agencies, think tanks, NGOs, or corporate sustainability teams will be an advantage.Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope and budgets, and balance competing priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and the capacity to leverage insights to support strategic decisions, identify trends, and evaluate project outcomes against organisational goals.Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office applications, and other commonly used tools such as Zoom and Monday.com.Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Melayu and English, with proven experience drafting high-quality correspondence and professional communications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
