Manager, Accounting

The Accounting Manager undertakes the responsibilities to lead and oversee the daily operations of the accounting function of ISKL’s Finance Department, ensuring accuracy of financial records as well as maintaining compliance with Malaysian laws and regulations, as well as ISKL’s internal policies. This key role supervises accounting staff, supports the Assistant Director of Finance, and plays a key part in maintaining ISKL’s financial integrity and reputation. This role is expected to be passionate about being part of the contributing factors towards the continued success of ISKL through individual and teamwork efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES, inclusive but not limited to :

• Accounting Operations & Reporting

Managing and overseeing the daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Ensure compliance with ISKL’s accounting policies, Malaysian accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support the Assistant Director of Finance in implementing process improvements and technology upgrades.

Supervise, coach, and support accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.

To prepare the annual report for the US Government Grant and prepare requests for reimbursement of authorized expenses from this grant.
