Trade Compliance Analyst

Global import-export in the world of ground-breaking technology is a complicated business. It takes real attention to detail to comply with all U.S. and regional import and export regulations. Our Global Trade Compliance provides trade compliance support for end-to-end order management and delivery processes, including consulting on United States and regional import / export compliance regulations, end user screening, new product and technology export reviews, Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) and Export Classification Control Number ECCN) product classification, export transaction approvals, international documentation, and customs broker management as well as assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies.

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible to works under direction to assist with standard import / export processes and procedures.

What you'll achieve

The successful candidate will have the chance to work with trade experts from multiple countries with in-depth knowledge across all areas of trade compliance from assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and to auditing all documentation. The candidate will be able to influence Dell's future policies on managing trade compliance at a country, regional & global level. The candidate will have a chance to obtain global content knowledge by leveraging content experts on country-specific requirements and its practical applications.

You will :

• Works under direction to assist with standard import / export processes and procedures
• Assists in communication / discussions with the freight forwarder / customers broker
• Assists in filling out paperwork and providing relevant import / export information to partners / customers.
• Supports small to medium sized projects to help implement continuous improvement processes and policies
• With guided supervision, helps to maintain the companies Foreign trade data
• Assists with export compliance, export licensing and order screening
