Position Summary
The role is responsible to achieve the sales and income targets by identifying own sales pipeline and qualifying opportunities for the range of products sold and assigned by the Company.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively contact potential customers and develop sales opportunities for existing and new products.
- Be conscious and receptive to customers’ needs, market trend and new products launched by competitors.
- Answer product / service-related questions as appropriate and initiate orders in accordance with established procedures.
- Establish healthy customer relations & provide efficient and effective service / support in accordance with the service standards set so as to maintain the customers’ confidence in the reputation of the products offered by the Company.
- Establish good rapport with various stakeholders and liaise with them on customers’ needs.
- Prepare product costing & to work out quotations for customers.
- Attend to customers’ complaints and enquiries with professionalism & integrity.
- Submit periodic sales report & activities plan with the most updated order closing date, & report problems encountered on a regular basis.
- Gather market information, where possible, so as to keep the Company updated on competitors’ movements & the Company’s position in the market.
- Work with the Marketing Executive on sales plans and product seminars from time to time.
- Maintain a high level of cooperation and teamwork within the indoor sales team.
- Responsible to comply with the Group’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Diploma in Business Administration, bachelor's in engineering or equivalent.2-3 years of sales working experience. Fresh graduates with an engineering background who are interested in pursuing a career in sales are encouraged to apply.Good negotiation and persuasion skills.Experience in indoor sales and telesales / telemarketing is strongly preferred.Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).Seniority level
