Role Overview :
The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness. The job holder will analyze market trends, manage pricing models, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine optimal pricing structures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer needs, and competitor pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Determine pricing models and structures for various service offerings based on cost analysis, market demand, and pricing elasticity.
- Analyse pricing data, sales performance, and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Monitor and adjust pricing levels as necessary to maintain competitiveness and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and update pricing policies and guidelines accordingly.
- Develop and maintain pricing databases, tools, and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in pricing processes.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to analyse costs and determine pricing levels that ensure profitability.
- Conduct cost benchmarking exercises and cost-saving analyses to identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.
- Prepare pricing proposals for customers, considering service requirements, cost structures, and profitability targets.
- Support the sales team in contract negotiations by providing pricing guidance and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement pricing governance processes and controls to maintain pricing integrity and consistency.
- Develop and maintain documentation of pricing strategies, guidelines, and pricing-related policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to address pricing-related audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.3-4 years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, or related roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.In-depth knowledge of pricing strategies, models, and methodologies within the freight forwarding industry.Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.Kindly fill the form below to apply.
