How You Succeed

To succeed in this role you’ll need to stay ahead of technology trends, work closely with stakeholders, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of technology solutions.

What You Do

• Produce application design, architecture and solutions that align with business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
• Possess good understanding of architecture strategy and roadmap and be able to align design towards them independently
• Able to produce design blueprints and best‑fit architectural solutions for a complete application as well as end‑to‑end design covering multiple interconnected systems and processes
• Update or produce new architecture frameworks and guiding principles for review, possessing a good understanding of why, when and how to apply them
• Possess in‑depth understanding of more than one functional domain and the surrounding processes in Financial Services, able to quickly pick up new domain knowledge (e.g. payments, core banking, wealth, etc.)
• Provide detailed design (sequence diagrams, domain‑driven, bounded context, granularity of microservices)
• Deliver business capabilities and ensure architecture principles are adhered to, conduct design review and define tech stack
• Escalate design and implementation challenges to Architecture and Engineering forums for resolution
• Work hands‑on with development and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of technology solutions
• Provide regular support and guidance on complex coding, issue resolution and implementation / execution
