Lead Automation Engineer

A Lead Automation / Systems Engineer at RoviSys will serve as a software or hardware lead on projects, as well as possess the ability to understand functional specifications and / or design specifications and translate that knowledge in the implementation of control systems. A lead engineer will be expected to develop skills required to successfully implement an entire project from both a control system software and hardware standpoint. A Lead Engineer will act as a mentor to Engineers and support training plans for Engineers.

Description of work :

• Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control system to improve efficiency, product quality and profitability of process manufacturing.
• Design Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings.
• Conduct engineering calculations, system sizing and equipment selection.
• Development of technical documentation such as Control Panels, Control System Architecture, System P&ID, Schematics and Specification documentation
• Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) / ladder design, distributed control system (DCS) configuration to meet client needs.
• Testing and on-site commissioning of control systems.
• Support of process control clients at sites in Malaysia and abroad.
• Will lead team of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutions for clients.
• Will have opportunities to manage small-scale project of 1-3 people.
• Candidates who possess experience in complex building automation systems, HVAC and other building systems would be advantageous.
