Buyer Executive (O&G)

Position Title: Buyer Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC / Engineering Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: RM3,500 – RM6,000 Job Summary We are seeking a Buyer to support procurement activities for Oil & Gas project environments. The role involves managing sourcing, supplier coordination, and purchasing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services. Key Responsibilities Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and evaluate supplier proposals Source and engage with local and international vendors Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and commercial conditions Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor order progress Expedite deliveries to meet project timelines Ensure compliance with project specifications and procurement procedures Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, project teams) Maintain supplier performance and documentation records Requirements Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field Fresh graduates with relevant internship OR 1–5 years procurement experience Exposure to Oil & Gas / EPC / engineering environment is an advantage Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems is a plus Able to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Why Join Us Exposure to Oil & Gas project procurement Opportunity to work with international suppliers Structured career progression into Senior Buyer Competitive salary aligned with KL market
