Job Description
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven Finance Executive to join our headquarters. If you are looking for a place for hands‑on experience and making a difference in a fast‑moving, agile startup environment, this might be the place for you.
You will play a vital role in day‑to‑day finance operations, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure completion and accuracy of financial reporting while maintaining compliance with local tax and audit requirements.
You're a fit for this role if you :
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
- Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or similar).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
Key Responsibilities :
Record financial transactions from source documents into the accounting system in compliance with accounting standards, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation with bank records.Manage customer collections across subsidiaries and collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve payment‑related queries promptly.Support month‑end closing activities by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of accounts receivable balances across all entities.Handle audit queries and provide relevant documentation and reconciliations on a timely basis.Monitor and reconcile cash‑in‑transit (CIT) to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and resolution of discrepancies.Assist with financial administrative tasks, including developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor AR aging and other key performance metrics.Seniority Level
