Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and securing new business opportunities for the company.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalise long-term supply agreements and contract terms.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and can specifications to inform sales strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact, fostering and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with Key Accounts and decision‑makers.
  • Proactively understand customer production schedules, can specifications, and volume requirements.
  • Handle all customer inquiries, complaints (e.g., quality, delivery), and issues promptly, coordinating with QA / QC and Production teams for quick resolution.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from accurate order entry to tracking and final delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with Production and Warehouse departments to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products to customers.
  • Generate accurate sales reports and forecasts to support internal planning and inventory management.
  • Track account performance metrics and forecast sales activities.
  • Undertake ad‑hoc duties and special projects assigned by superiors.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant technical / engineering field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in B2B sales, account management, or customer service, ideally within the packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is mandatory; Mandarin or other local dialects are highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with and prepared for periodic customer visits to Non‑Halal premises.
  • Must possess own transport and be willing to travel occasionally for customer meetings.
