Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Key technology partner to business stakeholders in mapping and translating business strategy into project portfolio
- Provide leadership to the business solution team to define the business problem statement and generate innovative technology / digital solutions
- Lead the PMO, Enterprise Architect along with the business solution team to manage the overall company's technology projects portfolio
- Establish the operating model to funnel innovation ideas to implementation and delivery
- Lead the demand management process to ensure projects are prioritized and planned in alignment with company strategy
- Support project delivery and implementation through scoping and requirement definition
- Establish and provide leadership to the PMO team to manage the overall project portfolio for the company
- Define and roll-out the overall project management governance standards and practices
- Set standards for project management capabilities, certifications and qualifications for Project Managers, success measurement criteria, methodologies, tools to be used, etc.
- Oversee Project Managers for the delivery of projects / programs on time, within the scope and on budget
- Report overall program status progress including manage the issues, risks and dependencies, mitigations, etc. and working with delivery leaders to take corrective action.
- Working with business stakeholders to track actual outcome of project investments against the original projected business benefits and ROI.
- Establish the PMO organization structure, hiring and managing staffing requirements
- Oversee the delegation of work to Project Managers and Subject Matter experts
- Set annual performance targets for individuals and the team and conduct performance reviews
Job Requirement
Program / Project Management within the FSI industryAt least 5 years management experienceGood understanding of IT environment / landscape of Life Insurance businessDegree in ITAt least 10 years experience in program / project managementPMP / PMI certification, Agile transformation experience, Design Thinking added advantageWhy join us?
