PhD position in Process Systems Engineering

Looking for PhD candidates with a strong background in chemical / petroleum / mechanical / electrical engineering to conduct research in the field of Process Integration / Renewable Energy / Process Systems Engineering / Process Planning / Energy Efficiency Technologies / Pinch Analysis / Circular Economy Technologies.

Expected start date : January 2026

• Open for full-time research students only
• Minimum CGPA of 3.25 / 4.00 in both Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
• Covers tuition fee (Research Progression Fee ONLY) and research methodology.
• Student to pay for Resources Fee (RM2,400 annually for Full-Time mode) and Viva Voce Fee.
• Registration, accommodation and transportation costs are not covered and is to be borne by students.
• Candidates will be assigned 6 hours of academic activities per week in the form of tutorials, laboratory demonstrations, or other related academic activities.
• Candidates are required to perform 22 research days per month.
• Monthly subsistence allowance : RM3,000.00
