Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Junior Lead Web Developer to join our growing team at i PEN SDN BHD! You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications and digital platforms for our internal products and client projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, tech-driven environment with continuous learning and growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
  • Integrate APIs and handle back-end communication efficiently.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to implement new features.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance system performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and deployment.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and development practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in web development (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiar with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies like Node.js, PHP (Laravel), or Python.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Supabase (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Git / GitHub version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
