Presales Consultant – Worldline – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Responsibilities

Internal collaboration : Work closely with product and sales teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities.
Requirement gathering & Solution Design : Engage customers at the conceptual level to elicit functional, non‑functional and technology requirements; translate them into feasible solutions.
Proposal Development : Lead and be responsible for RFI / RFP activities, proposal construction, presentation slides and other relevant materials to support the proposal.
Proof of Concept (POC) & Workshop : Lead and be responsible for workshops and POCs in collaboration with the product team.
Solution Partnership : Work with partner companies to cross‑sell solutions via marketing events or dedicated client workshops; identify partner capabilities that enrich the software value chain.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of relevant experience.

Domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services – e.g. card issuing, merchant acquiring, consumer loan, payments, cash management, transaction banking or other related lines.

Function expertise : at least one of management consulting & strategy, software functional consulting, software pre‑sales, product implementation or product strategy and commercialization.

Technology literacy : strong understanding of technology, overall solution architecture, including IBM Z, IBM i‑Series, microservices or containerised platforms (advantage).

Language : Strong English writing and verbal; native proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese or Tagalog is an advantage.
