Senior Lab Technician

Overview

Senior Lab Technician role at . Teleflex is a global provider of medical technologies focused on improving health outcomes. This position is part of Global Operations, which is responsible for product fulfillment from end to end. Teleflex brands include Arrow, Barrigel, Deknatel, QuikClot, LMA, Pilling, Rüsch, UroLift and Weck.

Location : Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia (no travel expected). Requisition ID : 12414.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations.
• Plan and coordinate testing, machine calibration, preventive maintenance, and verification of equipment.
• Ensure seamless execution of Lab operations and compliance with safety regulations during work hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the R&D Lab.
• Maintain machines and equipment in the R&D Lab.
• Prepare work instructions for all machines / equipment in the R&D Lab.
• Support in preparing purchase requests as needed by department / projects.
• Support testing, assembly, prototyping and documentation for R&D projects.
• Support production of quality prototypes (functional and aesthetic) for evaluation.
• Assists in producing jigs and fixtures for engineering testing and new product assembly.
• Provide accurate results and proper reports of testing conducted.
• Support / prep protocols or reports for machine / equipment required for qualifications.
• Perform other relevant responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
