Technical Engineer (Car Battery)

Lead the Technical & R&D Department and oversee all testing, QC, and product improvement activities.

Develop and implement technical testing SOPs for all incoming / outgoing stock and warranty claims.

Supervise and ensure accuracy of all product performance, voltage, and CCA test results.

Conduct warranty claim analysis to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions.

Coordinate with Customer Service to collect feedback from end-users and warranty claim data, thereby understanding product performance in real-world usage.

Work closely with Sales to study market feedback, competitor products, and evolving customer needs for future product improvement or model development.

Collaborate with Finance and Operations for warranty claim cost control and product traceability.

Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing partners on quality issues, performance testing, and product enhancement.

Analyse testing data and generate monthly Technical & Product Performance reports for management review.

Initiate and manage R&D projects aimed at improving battery performance, lifespan, or cost efficiency.

Ensure all testing tools, facilities, and safety equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.

Train and mentor QC Technicians to ensure high testing standards and technical competency.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director or CFO related to technical operations, product innovation, or business support.
