Those in Guidewire testing specialise in testing and quality assurance activities related to Guidewire applications, which provide insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client needs and implement software solutions.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to understand project requirements and deliver test automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyse results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritisation activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation testing processes and methodologies.
• Document test cases, test results, and other relevant information.
• Work collaboratively with developers and other cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope.
• Take ownership and consistently deliver quality work that drives value for clients and success as a team.

Education & Certifications

Degree : Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or related field).
