What a typical day looks like

• Assist in the timely preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Input journal entries.
• Aggregate and prepare actual and forecast financial data; compare current forecast against prior forecast.
• Develop detailed commentary on changes in forecasts and deviations from targets.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit activities.
• Advise reporting entities on corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise between corporate tax, treasury and other financial departments and regional / local finance managers.
• Generate financial reports for review by the business team.
• Conduct cost investigations as required.
• Make recommendations to management regarding cost-saving or profitability-improvement opportunities.
