Cybersecurity Specialist (Senior Executive / Assistant Manager)

IT Security Operations : Oversee daily security incidents, administration, and health checks on servers and network security controls.

Threat Detection & Response : Implement automated monitoring tools, threat intelligence platforms, and machine learning-based anomaly detection for real-time cybersecurity defence.

Security Solutions Deployment : Lead the implementation of DLP, SIEM, UEBA, IDS / IPS, AV, penetration testing, and data classification tools.

Incident Response & Vulnerability Management : Conduct forensic investigations, execute VAPT exercises, develop incident response automation, and enforce patch management.

Security Architecture & Compliance : Ensure adherence to ISO27001, NIST, PDPA, Cybersecurity Act, and align with Zero-Trust Architecture.

Cyber Crisis Management : Support war-room discussions during cyber incidents, execute simulation exercises, and strengthen response strategies.

Network & System Monitoring : Continuously monitor for intrusions, anomalies, and security breaches, leveraging AI-powered detection systems.

Regulatory & Governance : Liaise with NACSA, Securities Commission Malaysia, and other regulatory bodies to maintain compliance.

Security Awareness & Training : Conduct cybersecurity education programs, ensuring best practices are followed across the organization.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security or any other related business field with minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Expertise in Network Security (Firewall, IPS / IDS, Switches) and VAPT tools (Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux, LANSWEEPER).
• Strong knowledge of Threat Intelligence, SIEM, and Incident Response.
• Good communication and presentation skills (oral and written) both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively as a team and manage multiple engagements as necessary.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
