Job Description : APAC Head of Platform Transformation

Join a prestigious International insurer as the APAC Head of Platform Transformation , where you will shape the future of our technology strategy, drive platform modernization, and lead a journey from on-premises systems to the cloud.

This is a unique opportunity for a visionary technology leader to spearhead our transformation efforts, ensuring scalability, agility, and innovation in line with our global digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Transformation Leadership : Drive the end-to-end technology transformation across the APAC region, with a strong focus on modernizing platforms and migrating from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
Cloud Strategy & Execution : Develop and execute a robust cloud migration strategy, ensuring seamless integration, operational stability, and alignment with global technology standards.
Platform Modernization : Oversee the modernization of legacy platforms to deliver a future-ready, scalable, and secure architecture that meets evolving business needs.
Regional Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior business leaders, regional IT teams, and vendors to align technology initiatives with the company's strategic objectives.
Technology Innovation : Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation in underwriting, claims, distribution, and customer engagement.
Governance & Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, cybersecurity standards, and best practices related to cloud adoption and data management.
Team Development : Build and lead a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Key Qualifications

Extensive Cloud Migration Experience : Proven track record of driving large-scale cloud migration projects, with expertise in platform modernization for enterprise-level organizations.

Technical Acumen :

Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), containerization, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices.

Leadership Experience : Demonstrated success in leading regional or global technology transformation initiatives within a matrixed environment.

Strategic Vision : Ability to align technology initiatives with business goals and articulate a clear roadmap for transformation.

Stakeholder Management : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and cross-functional teams.

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) would be a strong advantage.
