Job Overview

Location : Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur

Work Type : Full-Time

Experience Required : 5 – 6 Years

Compensation : MYR 80,000 – 110,000 (based on experience and interview performance)

A leading engineering services firm is seeking an Execution Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of diesel genset enclosure projects in Malaysia and APAC. The role involves managing site installation, technical integration, supplier coordination, and alignment with customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in diesel engine / generator set engineering, enclosure solutions, and local project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical application engineering for diesel genset enclosures, ensuring compliance with customer and regional standards.
  • Support system integration at local factories and during site installation.
  • Act as a point of contact for technical resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage order execution and handover from sales, coordinating with project managers.
  • Ensure delivery of project‑specific technical documentation, drawings, and manuals.
  • Supervise site installation and adherence to technical specifications.
  • Establish and manage relationships with local suppliers and contractors.
  • Review technical drawings and documentation from suppliers.
  • Raise purchase requisitions and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Support project managers in aligning technical solutions with budgets and timelines.
  • Assist quality engineers in root cause analysis and resolution of execution issues.

Performance Achievements (Sample Outcomes)

  • Successfully executed multiple diesel genset enclosure projects within scope and timelines.
  • Improved technical integration and installation efficiency across APAC sites.
  • Enhanced supplier coordination and reduced technical execution issues.

    • Must‑Have Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel engine / generator set engineering with enclosure solution development.
  • Hands‑on experience in engineering project management, site installation, and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems for gensets and enclosure design.
  • Familiarity with switchgear and electrical power protection systems is advantageous.
  • Experience working within APAC; knowledge of Malaysian regulations is a plus.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within APAC as required.
  • Legal right to work in Malaysia is mandatory.

  • Exposure to multinational engineering projects and APAC standards.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine control systems and integrated power solutions.
