We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in a strategic technical sales role. You will collaborate with end users, system integrators, channel partners, and internal teams to position Omron as a leader in robotics, driving growth, customer engagement, and the adoption of Omron's innovative robotics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in business development, identifying and pursuing new opportunities by engaging customers with both commercial and technical discussions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through networking, marketing initiatives, and direct client engagement.
- Maintain awareness of competitor information and participate in industry associations according to company policy.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, product management) to develop proposals that ensure technical feasibility and alignment with customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers and stakeholders across the value chain, including end users and channel partners.
- Collaborate with system integrators and OEM partners to deliver integrated, optimized robotics solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the industrial automation industry, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive technical support.
- Engage regularly with clients to assess requirements, identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities, and manage relationships with vendors and partners.
- Provide technical recommendations and quick testing as required; collaborate closely with Application Engineers to ensure smooth project development and implementation.
- Manage and validate sales opportunities using CRM and other systems, ensuring visibility and timely closures.
- Assess and qualify opportunities to align customer needs with Omron's capabilities.
- Deliver regular performance reports and insights on sales and business development activities.
- Conduct market analysis to refine strategies and increase market share, staying updated on emerging trends in robotics and automation.
Qualifications
Diploma / degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics).Fluency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Additional certifications in robotics or industrial automation products (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Omron, KUKA, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa).At least 3 years’ experience in Technical Applications Sales, preferably in robotics or automation.Knowledge of the robotics industry and market trends.Experience in system integration or OEM or related field is a plus.Experience in PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle management.Expertise in planning and implementing sales strategies.Employment Type : Full-time
