Job Summary :
The Mechanic Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles or machinery to keep them in good working condition. This role includes finding and fixing mechanical problems, doing regular checks, and performing preventive maintenance. The technician works with the maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and address issues with heavy and light machinery (e.g., Cranes, Dump Trucks, Excavator, Road Roller, Concrete Pump and other machinery).
- Perform repairs on engines and machine components.
- Preventive Maintenance :
- Conduct scheduled maintenance services and identify potential machine issues.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to enhance equipment performance and longevity.
- Reporting & Documentation :
- Produce detailed daily service reports documenting work performed and issues resolved.
- Tool Management :
- Ensure that all working tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and serviceable condition.
- Additional Duties :
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements :
Diploma or Professional Certificate in a relevant field.Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience working with heavy machinery.Proven expertise in repairing trucks, cranes, dump trucks, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.Must possess a valid driving license OR GDL license.Seniority Level
