We are looking for : UPS Technician

Location : Bayan Lepas, Penang (On Site)

As UPS Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to ensure continuous power availability.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Installation : Setting up UPS systems and associated equipment according to specifications.

Maintenance : Performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance on UPS systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving issues with UPS systems, including identifying faults and making necessary repairs.

Testing : Conducting tests on UPS systems to verify performance and reliability.

Documentation : Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and tests conducted.

Customer Service : Interacting with clients to provide technical support, answer questions, and explain UPS system functionalities.

Compliance : Ensuring all work adheres to industry standards and safety regulations.

Required skills and Experience :

Candidate must possess a minimum Diploma in Engineering discipline, with considerable hands-on working experience in facilities engineering.

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

background in electrical engineering or a related field is often preferred.

Able to work independently, possess integrity and a right sense of urgency to meet deadlines, including work irregular hours and occasional travel if any urgent support.

Interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.

Good written and oral communication skills.
