Finance Manager (Chinese Speakers)

We are seeking a Finance Manager with strong strategic and creative thinking to lead the entire financial function across the companies. This is not a routine accounting position — it is a strategic leadership role that requires business acumen, creative financial thinking, and strong command over compliance and controls.

You will serve as the financial backbone and key strategic partner to senior management, overseeing the full financial ecosystem across the entities. From shaping financial policies and ensuring compliance, to optimizing business performance and guiding the company’s financial direction. This role demands a leader who can balance precision with strategy.

Job Description

Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and drive the group’s overall financial strategy, aligning with corporate goals and expansion plans.

Advise top management and directors on financial implications, risk factors, and investment opportunities.

Lead strategic business planning, capital structuring, and resource allocation to achieve long-term objectives.

Formulate and execute initiatives to improve cost efficiency, return on investment, and business scalability.

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis

Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial models across all entities.

Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic insights to support data-driven decision‑making.

Evaluate new business proposals, joint ventures, and projects for financial viability.

Monitor key financial KPIs and ensure performance targets are met.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure full SST compliance, tax submission accuracy, and adherence to Malaysian accounting standards.

Oversee audit processes, internal controls, and financial policies across the group.

Identify potential financial and operational risks and implement robust mitigation measures.

Ensure all statutory, banking, and legal obligations are met on time.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Manage the group’s cash flow, banking relationships, and funding activities.

Oversee capital expenditure planning and liquidity management.

Financial Operations & Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the finance team across all companies, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the timely preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and consolidation reports.

Streamline accounting processes and implement effective financial systems and reporting tools.

Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.

Strategic Projects & Business Support

Support management in business planning, policy formulation, and financial strategy execution.

Partner with management in corporate restructuring, new market entry, or business diversification plans.

Provide financial insights to improve operational efficiency, credit control, and profitability.

Play a key role in strategic partnerships, contract negotiations, and financial due diligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in multi‑entity financial management, ideally including exposure to regulated industries or licensed entities (such as KPKT‑licensed operations).
• Strong knowledge of SST compliance, taxation, audit, and regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.
• Excellent command of financial modelling, strategic analysis, and capital planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, yet capable of strategic and creative thinking.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) — required for internal and external communication.
