Job Summary : Plays a key role in supporting the financial management and operational efficiency of the region. This position works closely with the Finance Manager / Head of Finance to oversee monthly closing, review business unit performance, and provide insightful analysis to drive cost and margin improvements. Supports budgeting, forecasting, cashflow monitoring, and compliance with statutory and company requirements. The Assistant Manager also ensures accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Monthly Closing : Support the Finance Manager / Head of Finance in reviewing financial performance of various business units, comparing results to budget, forecast, and prior year; assist in preparing cost and margin analysis and make recommendations for improvements where appropriate; coordinate the monthly closing process for all markets in the region, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of results; review and analyze ledger postings, ensuring correct classification of transactions and investigating unusual variances. Financial Operations : Work with business unit heads, functional leads, and regional finance to assist in the preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and annual business plans; monitor working capital and cash flow, identifying areas for improvement; assist in corporate structure, tax, and regulatory compliance matters in coordination with regional and global finance teams; prepare and submit regular and ad-hoc management / financial reports for review by senior finance leaders; manage ad-hoc and ongoing projects as required. Compliance, Governance & Internal Controls : Administer and uphold company policies and procedures, with a focus on strengthening internal control; manage and ensure best practice, governance and accounting compliance are deployed to company standards and / or statutory requirements. Required skills and experience
Qualified Accountant with a Degree in Accounting or equivalent 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational commercial environment; some audit experience is an advantage Ability to work effectively under tight timelines Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Sound analytical skill and business acumen to support business decisions Strong leadership and communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong customer and business focused mindset Able to adopt the company culture and understand the business drivers We offer competitive remuneration package and fringe benefits to the successful candidate.
