Customer Quality Engineer

Location : Senai

Salary : Up to MYR 4,500

1 Headcount for Plastic Injection parts + 1 Headcount for Metal Precision parts

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program CMM machines for accurate measurement and validation of parts.
• Review discrepancies before parts move to mass production.
• Manage customer complaints by leading containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and validate FA inspections for new and revised parts.
• Participate in NPI projects to define quality requirements early in development.
• Support the development of control plans, PFMEA, and inspection standards.
• Ensure all APQP and PPAP deliverables are submitted on time.
• Analyze quality performance data (PPM, scrap, rework, COPQ) and present insights.
• Use SPC, Pareto analysis, and trend charts to identify and address issues.
• Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Apply structured problem-solving (8D, A3, DMAIC) to eliminate root causes.
• Support and sustain internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific standards.
