Job description

Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting & Consolidation :

Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with IFRS / MFRS.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting :

Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.

    • Cash Flow & Treasury Management :

    Oversee group cash flow planning, ensuring optimal liquidity management.

  • Develop strategies for effective working capital management.

    • Tax & Compliance :

    Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

    • Internal Controls & Process Improvement :

    Develop and implement strong internal controls and financial policies.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Stakeholder Management :

    Collaborate with business unit leaders to drive financial performance.

  • Provide financial insights and reports to senior management and the board.

    • Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

    • Experience : Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in group finance, accounting, or auditing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

    Technical Skills :

    Strong knowledge of IFRS / MFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

  • Proficiency in ERP / accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis.

    • Soft Skills :

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a manufacturing or listed company environment is an added advantage.
  • Prior involvement in IPO preparation or corporate finance initiatives is beneficial.
