QC Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform color matching and color evaluation for raw materials, in-process, and finished products using both visual and instrumental methods (e.g., spectrophotometer, colorimeter).
• Compare production samples against approved color standards or customer samples.
• Record and maintain color measurement data accurately in quality control logs and databases.
• Support production teams by providing color adjustment guidance to achieve target shades.
• Conduct shade approval and batch release processes in accordance with established QC procedures.
• Identify and report any color deviation or non-conformance, and assist in root cause analysis.
• Ensure QC instruments are calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and lab personnel to improve color consistency and process control.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and ensure all testing is performed safely and efficiently.
• Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to color evaluation and QC processes.
