Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engineering site survey for solar PV system installation.
  • Design solar PV system including but not limited to electrical, structural and mechanical.
  • Plan and manage material purchase and subcontract via ERP system.
  • Liaise and manage sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring workmanship qualities or subcontractors during installation.
  • Attend site meeting or any ad hoc meeting
  • Work with internal and / or external parties such as TNB, consulting firms, local authorities licensing matters and documentation.
  • Liaise and coordinate with TNB HQ & local authorities on meter installation and grid interconnection of solar PV system.
  • Setup remote monitoring system and conduct test & commissioning of the solar PV system.
  • Weekly reporting and new project scheduling.
  • Implement best practices and safe work procedure for every project.
  • Organize a post mortem meeting for evaluation of project results, challenges faced and provide recommendations for future improvement.

About the Projects : Candidate will involve in C&I-scale solar PV developments for premium clients in the green energy sector, including a flagship portfolio aligned with Gentari's sustainability goals

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Solar or Electrical industry.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and other related Microsoft Office Product.
  • Proficient in ERP system will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge and experience in Solar PV system and PVSYST will be an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel or relocate with own transport.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, team player with high integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
