Role Overview

Record to Report Accountant (RTR) at LT ZERO Asia Pacific.

Job Summary

Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end accounting close for Quantum’s subsidiaries, support the US team and third parties to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial transactions. Responsible for all aspects of the close process, including processing and reporting for subsidiaries and preparing reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the month‑end accounting close process to ensure timely, accurate and complete recognition of financial transactions.
  • Maintain accounting records and bookkeeping entries for day‑to‑day transactions (AP, payroll, fixed asset, AR, and general ledger) under APAC and EMEA local GAAP.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger operations and balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and annual financial reports and supporting schedules from Microsoft Dynamics D365.
  • Prepare reconciliations of subsidiary accounts to capture inter‑company transactions, as well as bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other finance functions (AP, GL, payroll, HR, AR, FP&A) to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
  • Maintain fixed assets register, calculate and record depreciation, capitalize purchases and support subsequent accounting treatment throughout the asset life cycle.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, manage open item reconciliation, general ledger payroll reconciliation, foreign exchange revaluation and cost allocation run.
  • Support local business processes by reviewing revenue adjustments and providing periodic revenue reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Document key controls to support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of GL experience within global organizations, preferably in a shared services environment for a US multinational corporation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 is preferred; extensive knowledge of other global financial systems is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of APAC & EMEA local GAAP; understanding of US GAAP is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, accurate, detail‑oriented, team player, meticulous; able to meet tight deadlines and timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; clear and concise reporting skills.
