JOB SUMMARY
The End Point Management Analyst supports the full lifecycle of endpoint devices, ensuring they are secure, compliant, and efficiently managed. This role involves procurement, vendor coordination, project execution, and technical support to enhance endpoint performance and user experience. The position reports to the Field Engagement Team under the Customer Experience Centre.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Endpoint Administration & Support
Manage and maintain endpoint systems, ensure compliance with security standards, and provide advanced support.
Request & Procurement Management / Project Management Lead for Endpoint ProjectHandle sourcing requests, prepare tender documents, and manage IT procurement for endpoint assets.
Vendor ManagementAct as main contact with suppliers, enforce SLA compliance, and review vendor performance.
Asset Lifecycle ManagementOversee the complete lifecycle of endpoint assets, maintain accurate inventory records, and plan for technology refresh initiatives.
Security & ComplianceImplement endpoint security controls, support internal and external audits, and generate regular compliance reports.
JOB SCOPE
Prepare RFPs, quotations, sourcing requests, technical evaluation reports, policies, and work processes related to the Endpoint Management Unit accurately and within the stipulated timeframe.Propose specifications for computer hardware / software that align with user requirements, budget, and timeline.Propose approvals for disposal and upgrades of computer hardware / software, ensuring technical inspections are carried out accurately and thoroughly.Monitor and supervise the implementation of preventive maintenance for computer hardware / software, ensuring it is carried out according to the scheduled timeline.Process request procurement through the Ariba system.Review and act on endpoint user computing supplier performance monthly reports analysisPerform tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
1. Project Planning & Execution
Skilled in defining project scope, deliverables, resource needs, and timelines.Competence in applying project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).2. Stakeholder Coordination
Strong collaboration skills to engage IT, procurement, security, and business units.Effective communication to act as liaison between technical teams, management and business usersCompetence in balancing technical requirements with business objectives.3. Vendor & Procurement Management
Ability to manage vendor relationships, monitor deliverables, and enforce SLAs.Knowledgeable in procurement processes and tools such as SAP Ariba.Experienced in negotiation and contract management.4. Risk & Compliance Management
Strong knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and security requirements.Ability to ensure endpoint-related projects meet audit and regulatory standards.5. Monitoring & Reporting
Capable of tracking project progress, budget, and resource utilization.Proficient in creating dashboards, reports, and conducting post-implementation reviews.6. Security Awareness
Understanding of endpoint security best practices, including antivirus, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.Ability to implement and monitor security policies on endpoints to mitigate risks.7.Process Management
Familiar with ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).Skilled in documenting endpoint configurations, procedures, and workflows.8. Continuous Learning & Adaptability
Proactive in staying updated with emerging endpoint technologies and cybersecurity trends.Open to adopting new tools, automation, and best practices.9. End Point Asset Lifecycle
Competent in managing endpoint assets from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency and sustainability.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Malaysian citizen.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Information Systems, or equivalent qualification from accredited higher learning institutionsMinimum of 2 years of experience in endpoint management, IT customer engagement and IT technical supportStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other tools.Experience in using tools such as Service Management Tools and procurement system (e.g Ivanti, BMC, Ariba etc.)Excellent communication and presentation skills.JOB STATUS
